PREVIEW: Star Trek: Picard Episode 302
FEBRUARY 21, 2023 – The final season of Star Trek: Picard is underway, and is it ever. We have been reunited with some of our heroes, some of whom are living on the edge out of the gate, while others are being coaxed away from other plans. Partners are ready as ever, while other relationships are strained.
In this week’s episode, “Disengage,” aided by Seven of Nine and the crew of the U.S.S. Titan, Picard makes a shocking discovery that will alter his life forever – and puts him on a collision course with the most cunning enemy he’s ever encountered. Meanwhile, Raffi races to track a catastrophic weapon – and collides with a familiar ally.
“Disengage” was written by Christopher Monfette and Sean Tretta, and was directed by Doug Aarniokoski. Aarniokoski directed last week’s episode. Monfette cowrote “Penance” and “Assimilation,” both from last season. Tretta was a coexecutive producer on last week’s episode and worked on Terry Matalas’ 12 Monkeys.
In the images below, you’ll see Captain Shaw of the Titan, Jack, Seven of Nine, Riker, and, of course, Picard.
