PREVIEW: Star Trek: Picard, Episode 310
APRIL 18, 2023 - "Course laid in, sir. She's ready."
"Engage."
That from the end of last week’s episode, and we’re underway toward the final episode of Star Trek: Picard. The episode is entitled “The Last Generation” and was written and directed by showrunner Terry Matalas. While we haven’t the faintest idea this week what to expect, suffice it to say that an old enemy is up to some serious shenanigans, and it will be up to our heroes to save the day and the Federation. Again.
Really for the last time, though? That appears to be an open question, based on our (spoilery) interview about the upcoming walk to support the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Early in that conversation, Jonathan Frakes indicated that Picard is coming swiftly to its conclusion “for the time being” but that “the pump has been primed.”
Whatever that might or might not end up meaning, however, for now you can check out a few images below from “The Last Generation” as well as a clip from the episode (which might in itself be spoilery. Fair warning.)
“The Last Generation” drops this Thursday, April 20, on Paramount+.
