PREVIEW: Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Episode 205
JULY 11, 2023 – Well, here we are approaching the halfway point already in season two of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
This week, in episode five, “Charades,” a shuttle accident leads to Spock’s Vulcan DNA being removed by aliens, making him fully human and completely unprepared to face T’Pring’s family during an important ceremonial dinner.
“Charades” was written by Kathryn Lyn and Henry Alonso Myers. It was directed by Jordan Canning. Lyn wrote the Hugo-nominated Star Trek: Lower Decks episode, “wej Duj” and is supervising producer for season two of SNW. Myers is showrunner and an executive producer on SNW and has co-written four other episodes for the series. Among Canning’s previous directorial entries are episodes of Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock, Schitt’s Creek, and Ginny & Georgia.
“Charades” drops this Thursday, July 13, on Paramount+.
