JULY 18, 2023 – And welcome to the second half of season two of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds! Where does the time go? Time crystals might come in handy, but that’s another series.

In any case, in this week’s episode, “Lost in Translation,” Uhura seems to be the only one who can hear a strange sound. When the noise triggers terrifying hallucinations, she enlists an unlikely assistant to help her track down the source.

“Lost in Translation” was written by Onitra Johnson and David Reed and directed by Dan Liu. Johnson co-wrote last season’s “The Elysian Kingdom,” and Reed wrote this season’s “Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow.” Liu directed season one’s “Memento Mori.”

Episode 206 drops this Thursday, July 20 on Paramount+. In the meantime, check out some images from the episode below.

David is a contributing writer for Daily Star Trek News on the Roddenberry Podcast Network. He is a librarian, baseball fan, and book and movie buff.
