San Diego Comic-Con: Thursday, July 20 – Sunday, July 23
Plenty of Star Trek programming awaits attendees at the 800-pound gorilla of conventions, taking place at the San Diego Convention Center. Panels include a fiftieth anniversary celebration of Star Trek: The Animated Series and the ever-popular Star Trek Universe presentation. The many details are available at Comic-Con International.
Broadway Con: Friday, July 21 – Sunday, July 23

Paramount+ Movie Nights in Bryant Park: Star Trek III: The Search for Spock: Monday, July 24
Star Trek III will be screened as part of the 30th summer movie series in Bryant Park, in New York City. The movie starts at 8:00 p.m. ET. Check out Bryant Park for all the skinny.

·These are the Twitter watchalongs:
o #allstartrek runs Sunday through Friday at 8/7C and follows the Heroes and Icons Channel’s All Star Trek programme.
o #TOSSatNight starts at 9pm PT on Saturday night and follows a different episode of The Original Series every week, and
o #StarTrekHour is a Q&A-format event, every Tuesday at 1pm PT.

·But wait, there’s more watch partying: Club IDIC hosts a weekly watch party and discussion at 6pm Alberta Time every Friday. The schedule and Zoom links are available at the Club IDIC Facebook page.
·Virtual Trek Con presents The Main Viewer every Tuesday - a live discussion show on YT with occasional special guests and an open chat geared towards fan interaction.
·Disco Does DnD - livestream DnD game with DSC actors on Twitch, every Sunday at 1pmPT/4pmET.
· Join Grey Havens Philosophy and Outworld Brewing every first Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. as they discuss the big ideas inspired by Star Trek. The gatherings are at Outworld Brewing, in Longmont, Colorado. Attendance is free, but an RSVP for planning purposes is appreciated at Eventbrite.
·And finally, there’s Sid City Social Club, hosted by Star Trek: Deep Space Nine star Alexander Siddig’s official fan website. They meet twice monthly on the first Tuesday and third Friday of every month, with occasional pop-up meetings with Sid as his schedule allows. ·Ongoing through October, Starship Edsel is a Star Trek inspired farce set aboard the Federation Starship Edsel towards the end of the 24th century. It is based upon a LARP written and developed by Brandon Brylawski, who is also a producer and head writer on this show. Performances take place at the Otherworld Theatre, in Chicago. ·Ongoing through March 2024, the National Museum of African American History and Culture hosts the exhibition, “Afrofuturism: A History of Black Futures,” which includes a uniform worn by Nichelle Nichols.
·Ongoing Saturdays through August 19, join To Boldly Go for a Star Trek: Strange New Worlds viewing event and fundraiser, starting at 6 p.m. ET at the Barracuda Lounge in New York City. Included are drag shows, 2-for-1 drinks, bingo & trivia, and prizes & giveaways. Each night is dedicated to supporting The Ali Forney Center's mission is to protect LGBTQ+ youth from the harms of homelessness and empower them with the tools needed to live independently.
