The next installment of this speakers series from the Nichelle Nichols Foundation will feature Tim Russ on a panel with volcano scientist Dr. Kayla Iacovino. The panel will be hosted by Dr. Michael Wong, Planetary Scientist at the Carnegie Institution for Science’s Earth & Planets Laboratory. The gathering gets started at 5:00 p.m. PT / 8:00 p.m. ET over at the Foundation’s YouTube channel.
Hollywood Show: Friday, June 30 – Saturday, July 1
A plethora of Star Trek personalities will be among the celebrities attending the latest Hollywood Show signing and photo op event, taking place at the Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport Hotel, in Burbank, California. Head over to the Hollywood Show for all the details.
FanExpo Denver: Friday, June 30 – Sunday, July 2
Jonathan Frakes, Gates McFadden, Brent Spiner, Michael Dorn, Christopher Lloyd (Sat and Sun), and Ron Perlman (Sat and Sun) are scheduled to appear at the Colorado Convention Center. All the details are at FanExpoHQ.

o #TOSSatNight starts at 9pm PT on Saturday night and follows a different episode of The Original Series every week, and
o #StarTrekHour is a Q&A-format event, every Tuesday at 1pm PT.

· Join Grey Havens Philosophy and Outworld Brewing every first Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. as they discuss the big ideas inspired by Star Trek. The gatherings are at Outworld Brewing, in Longmont, Colorado. Attendance is free, but an RSVP for planning purposes is appreciated at Eventbrite.
·And finally, there’s Sid City Social Club, hosted by Star Trek: Deep Space Nine star Alexander Siddig’s official fan website. They meet twice monthly on the first Tuesday and third Friday of every month, with occasional pop-up meetings with Sid as his schedule allows. ·Ongoing through October, Starship Edsel is a Star Trek inspired farce set aboard the Federation Starship Edsel towards the end of the 24th century. It is based upon a LARP written and developed by Brandon Brylawski, who is also a producer and head writer on this show. Performances take place at the Otherworld Theatre, in Chicago. ·Ongoing through March 2024, the National Museum of African American History and Culture hosts the exhibition, “Afrofuturism: A History of Black Futures,” which includes a uniform worn by Nichelle Nichols.
·Ongoing Saturdays through August 19, join To Boldly Go for a Star Trek: Strange New Worlds viewing event and fundraiser, starting at 6 p.m. ET at the Barracuda Lounge in New York City. Included are drag shows, 2-for-1 drinks, bingo & trivia, and prizes & giveaways. Each night is dedicated to supporting The Ali Forney Center's mission is to protect LGBTQ+ youth from the harms of homelessness and empower them with the tools needed to live independently.
