GalaxyCon Live: Walter Koenig w/Babylon 5 - Saturday, September 26th
First up, Walter Koenig is appearing on a GalaxyCon Live panel for Babylon 5, this Saturday, September 26th, at 4pm ET. He’ll be there with co-stars Bruce Boxleitner and Claudia Christian.
As with all GalaxyCon Live events, tickets are free but required, and you can purchase one-on-one chats and autographs, if you so desire. For more, head to galaxycon.com.
LIVE from Tim’s Yard! Charity concert with Tim Russ - Sunday, September 27th
Then on Sunday, from 4.30pm PT, it’s “LIVE from Tim’s Yard!” a live charity concert featuring Tim Russ and his band. It’s free to watch on Facebook, but there will be a “tip jar” available. Proceeds from the event will go to The Midnight Mission, supporting homeless people in Los Angeles. For more, head to Facebook and search “LIVE from Tim’s Yard!”.
Virtual Starfleet Cocktail Party - Sunday, September 27th
And finally today, the event of the week...And this one comes straight from Dr. Trek himself, Larry Nemecek, so you know it will be good!
This Sunday, September 27th, from 3 - 6pm PT, it’s a virtual Starfleet Cocktail Party! Stop in anytime for an informal “come and go” of Trek faces, hosted by Larry along with Aliza Pearl from Women at Warp and The Improvised Generation. Among the guests expected to attend are actors Armin Shimerman and Kitty Swink, John Billingsley, Mary Chieffo, Chase Masterson and Tamlyn Tomita. Also VFX producer extraordinaire Dan Curry, Star Trek science advisers Dr. Erin Macdonald and Prof. Mohamed Noor, and more.
