Star Trek Day: Thursday, September 8
On the 56th anniversary of the US premiere of Star Trek: The Original Series, Jackie Cox and Mary Chieffo host live-streamed back-to-back conversations with Star Trek casts and a tribute to the late Nichelle Nichols. Star Trek Screen-Used Props and Costumes Exhibit: Thursday, September 8 – Sunday, November 27
As reported last month, the American Helicopter Museum and Education Center, in West Chester, Pennsylvania, is hosting a speaker series and exhibit of Star Trek props and costumes. The members-only preview is tonight at 7:00 ET. Check out AHMEC for more information.
HorrorHound Weekend: Friday, September 9 – Sunday, September 11
Join Doug Jones and Ron Perlman at HorrorHound Weekend, taking place at the Sharonville Convention Center, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Jones will be there all weekend, and Perlman is appearing Friday and Saturday only. Head over to HorrorHound Weekend for the skinny.
Ottawa ComicCon: Friday, September 9 – Sunday, September 11
Denise Crosby and Christina Chong are scheduled to appear at Ottawa ComicCon this weekend (Chong on Saturday and Sunday only). The con is happening at the EY Centre, in Ottawa, Ontario. See Ottawa ComicCon for all the details.
Rose City Comic Con: Friday, September 9 – Sunday, September 11
Anthony Rapp (Sat and Sun), LeVar Burton (Sat and Sun), Rainn Wilson (Fri and Sat), and Wilson Cruz (Sat and Sun) are scheduled to appear at Rose City Comic Con, happening at the Oregon Convention Center, in Portland. All the details are at Rose City Comic Con.
Virtual Meet and Greet with Kate Mulgrew: Saturday, September 10
GalaxyCon is hosting another opportunity for autographs and video chats, this time with Kate Mulgrew. The deadline for autograph orders on photos and mini posters is 11:59 p.m. ET on Saturday. The video chats begin Saturday at 2:00 p.m. ET. Head over to GalaxyCon for details and to place orders.

·To Proudly Go, a New York-based nonprofit, will be hosting Star Trek: Lower Decks season three viewing parties each Saturday. The gatherings begin at 6:00 pm ET at the Barracuda Lounge in New York City. Tickets are free, and vaccination is required. The viewing parties also include Star Trek trivia games, special Star Trek-themed drag performances, two-for-one drinks, fabulous Star Trek prizes, and merchandise. Each viewing party is dedicated to supporting Impac+NYC which is a social support community of queer, gay, bi, and trans men living with HIV living in New York together. ·Disco Does DnD - Livestream DnD game with DSC actors on Twitch, every Sunday at 1pmPT/4pmET.
· Join Grey Havens Philosophy and Outworld Brewing every first Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. as they discuss the big ideas inspired by Star Trek. The gatherings are at Outworld Brewing, in Longmont, Colorado. Attendance is free, but an RSVP for planning purposes is appreciated at Eventbrite.
·And finally, there’s Sid City Social Club, hosted by Star Trek: Deep Space Nine star Alexander Siddig’s official fan website.
