Star Trek stars send message to fans that we’re all #InThisTogether
The stars of Star Trek have come together in a special video to remind us that even though most of us are apart, we are still connected.
Star Trek on CBS All Access shared the video across their social media accounts on Wednesday, with the caption, “No matter where you are in the galaxy, we’re #InThisTogether”. The video featured actors from Star Trek: Picard and Star Trek: Discovery, including Jeri Ryan, Sonequa Martin-Green, Jonathan Frakes and Marina Sirtis, Brent Spiner, Michelle Hurd, and Isa Briones.

In the video, each of the stars shared part of a special message, all recorded in their homes (or in Spiner’s case, out for a walk). Ryan said she is glued to the TV, while Sirtis said she talks to the dogs. Spiner and Hurd acknowledged that these are tough times that can feel overwhelming. But all the stars echoed the same sentiment: “We’re all in this together.”
The video is part of a larger effort by CBS to offer the public reassurance during the coronavirus crisis. They have released a series of similar videos featuring talent from different properties across the network, all under the hashtag #InThisTogether. But for Star Trek fans of course, this video is special, because it focuses on the stars who tell us the stories that we love the most. Plus, we get a special bonus at the end: the galaxy’s favorite space dad, Jonathan Frakes, reassuring us that we will “Live long and prosper.”
