Star Trek YouTubers hold special event celebrating Jean-Luc Picard ahead of new series premiere
A group of YouTubers led by Jessie Gender is getting ready for the premiere of Star Trek: Picard by celebrating their very own Captain Picard Day.
The community, including Jessie, Steve Shives, Ketwolski, TriAngulum Studios, Kertrats and more, is releasing several videos later today, each focussing on a favorite Jean-Luc Picard moment, and what he means to them. Then they’re all getting compiled into a playlist that any other YouTuber is welcome to join in on.
Jessie says, “We hope this initiative will help create a bond between all of us as creators and help spread Star Trek’s message of community and positivity, as well as just be fun for everyone who can’t wait for Star Trek: Picard.”
To watch the videos, head to Jessie Gender’s channel on YouTube, and to participate in Captain Picard Day with a video of your own, reach out to Jessie on Twitter, @jessiegender.
