DECEMBER 20, 2022 - The stellar nurseries within the Star Trek universe, it seems, continue unabated to produce new stars, from television series to tie-in fiction. The latest in the latter category was observed by Space.com just this week.

Titan Books releases today a new anthology of short stories from some of today’s best known Star Trek writers. The new collection, Star Trek: “Q and False” and Other Stories, presents tales that tie into the range of legacy Trek series, from Star Trek: The Original Series to Star Trek: Enterprise, and even throws in a new story from the world of Star Trek: The Motion Picture.

The volume is presented by Star Trek Explorer Magazine and includes stories ranging from “Captain Kirk discovering the enigmatic Q and a romantic Delta IV reunion between Will Decker and the lovely Ilia, to the Borg's nefarious origins and Captain Archer's first time in the Enterprise captain's chair.”

The illustrated entries in this 96-page hardcover edition were written by such authors as Lisa Klink, James Swallow, Una McCormack, Christopher Cooper, Chris Dows, Peter Holmstrom, and Greg Cox.
