Preview Star Trek: Prodigy Episode 119, "Supernova, Part 1," With New Stills
DECEMBER 21, 2022 - We’re down to the final (2 part) story of season one of Star Trek: Prodigy. When we last saw our crew, an unexpected mind swap between Dal and Janeway had both a positive and negative effect. Positive: Janeway came to understand that the Protostar’s crew is made up of kids, not terrorists, and that they don’t intend to destroy the Federation. Negative: Because of how Dal was acting while inside of Janeway’s body, the crew of the Dauntless suspect her of foul play and have locked her away in the brig.
And with that, though the kids don’t intend to destroy the Federation, they very well may be the harbinger of its doom.
Episode 119 - “Supernova, Part 1,” available to stream Thursday, December 22. Written By: Erin McNamara and directed By: Andrew L. Schmidt. According to the logline, “Surrounded by the Federation armada, the crew attempts to stop their ship from destroying all of Starfleet.”
Since we know that a supernova is a sun exploding, and that the Protostar is powered by a mini sun, well… let’s wait until tomorrow to see what happens.
