Watch the first episode of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds for free on YouTube
MAY 15, 2022 - Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will be three episodes into its first season this week. If you haven’t seen the series yet, you can start with the full trailer. If you are in the US and haven’t committed to a Paramount+ subscription (where SNW is normally exclusively available), you now have a fleeting opportunity to sample the first episode for free. Kick the nacelles, as it were.
Star Trek on Paramount+ announced last week on its Twitter feed that episode one of SNW, appropriately titled “Strange New Worlds,” will be available to stream for free until this Wednesday, May 18th, on YouTube. In the episode, which premiered on May 5th, when one of Captain Christopher Pike’s officers goes missing while on a secret mission for Starfleet, Pike has to come out of self-imposed exile. He must navigate how to rescue his officer, while struggling with what to do with the vision of the future he’s been given.
If you like what you see in the free episode on YouTube, all of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, as well as the rest of the Star Trek universe, is streaming now on Paramount+.
