Apply now for the 2022 Star Trek Command Training Program internship from the Television Academy Foundation and CBS Studios
NOVEMBER 30, 2021 - At least prior to her jump to the 32nd century with her USS Discovery colleagues, Ensign Sylvia Tilly was determined to enter Starfleet’s Command Training Program. Now there is an opportunity to apply for a 21st century version. And you won’t even have to shave time off your run.
The Television Academy Foundation has announced that applications are being accepted for its 2022 Internship Program in Hollywood for college media students nationwide, including the Star Trek Command Training Program. According to a press release, paid internships are offered for graduate and undergraduate college and university media arts students for the spring and summer of 2022. The internships give students in-depth and hands-on professional experience in a variety of television careers and professions at prominent Hollywood studios and production facilities. Internship categories include animation, cinematography, program development, directing, editing, interactive media, news and writing.
The Star Trek Command Training Program is in association with CBS Studios, which offers students an immersive professional experience within the Star Trek franchise.
According to the Foundation’s website, spring internships are part time and will take place April 4 - July 1, 2022. They are open to all class levels within the Greater Los Angeles area (counties of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura) and Semester in LA programs only.
Summer internships are full time and will take place June 20 - August 12, 2022. They are open to all class levels nationwide.
