LeVar Burton and Michael Dorn reunite with Star Trek cast members on the set of Picard

On Friday, Isa Briones, Star Trek: Picard’s Dahj and Soji, posted a series of pictures on Instagram with her co-stars from episode 7, “Nepenthe” - plus a couple of extras! In addition to Picard himself, Sir Patrick Stewart, with Jonathan Frakes and Marina Sirtis as Will Riker and Deanna Troi, the pictures also featured LeVar Burton and Michael Dorn. Presumably on set for a impromptu Next Generation reunion rather than shooting scenes, Burton and Dorn were dressed casually, and certainly not in Geordi and Worf makeup. According to TrekCore.com, the set of Riker and Troi’s farmhouse on Nepenthe is a cabin on the Universal Studios backlot in Hollywood, an easy spot to drop by on a day out.
Briones captioned the photo, “Probably one of the most surreal days of my life. One of those moments when you look around and go ‘how is this my life?’ (in the good way). I truly am the luckiest girl in the world to be a part of this legacy and this family. #startrekpicard #thenextgeneration Go watch episode 7 now!!!!” Oh, and a few UFO and Vulcan salute emoji.
