MEME REVIEW MONDAY: A Violent Klingon Plant, a Festive Ferengi Drink, and a Christmassy Andorian Topper

It's a festive Meme Review Monday this week!

DECEMBER 18, 2023 - Hello Everyone! I’m sorry I missed last week, however, I had exams and I really wanted to pass, which I totally did (if there’s a way to win exam week I did it). 

Now I grant you two weeks of expertly curated memes that I scavenged just for you.

First up we have a meme from @robintreks on Instagram. 

This meme perfectly describes me now that I’m home for break. The only difference is changing “tonight” to “all day every day.” I’m currently rewatching DS9 because I haven’t seen it in a while and I realized that I don’t remember much of it. Plus DS9 is a wonderful show totally deserving of a million rewatches.

Speaking of DS9, here's another meme from @robintreks that made me spit out my (non-alcoholic) eggnog. 

Get it… Egg Nog. I love puns and this one is expertly executed. The editing is immaculate and Nog’s face is perfect. I love how he’s almost the same color as the egg.

Next up we have a meme from @trekcastng on Instagram. 

This is how I feel every time I talk about Discovery. I have a confession to make. Discovery is probably my favorite Star Trek show (TNG is a close second and occasionally they switch around). This is how I feel every time I tell someone my favorite Trek is DISCO. However, I love the characters so much that I feel no shame in embracing my love for this show. I am incredibly excited for Season 5.

I usually try to keep profanity out of the meme reviews however I could not resist the Spirk content. As a queer person myself and thus an expert on this topic, I would have to say that Spirk is gayer than being gay.

Speaking of Spock, Next up we have a meme I found on X but I forgot to screenshot it with the creator’s tag so I do not know the original creator but if anyone does please let me know and I’ll be sure to credit them. 

I 100% agree with this meme. This is exactly what I use my hands for. Spock deserves everything ever and that is why we have hands.

I actually propose that Shran wears his hat with A and B combined. So he wears the hat and then his antennae also wear hats.

I absolutely love this meme! My favorite part is the aesthetic font with sparkles that “warp core” is written in. 100/10 meme, it does not get better than this.

This is a very Worf thing to say and I love it. I will never be able to hear “Deck the Halls” the same again. I also headcanon that “Deck the Halls” is Worf’s favorite Christmas song purely because of his interpretive meaning.

This isn’t the best meme I’ve ever made, however, I really couldn’t come up with many ideas. Plus, this meme is definitely accurate.
