MEME REVIEW MONDAY: Klingon Real Estate Ads, Tricky Operations and Transporter Accidents

Hello and welcome back to another Meme Review Monday! I don’t know about you all but this past week has been super hectic for me and I’ve been looking forward to sitting down and just writing this article all week. These are my favorite articles to write so they’re always a great way to wind down after a stressful week. Now I know you’ve been waiting all week for some awesome memes so without further ado let’s get into it.

First up we have a meme from @robintreks on Instagram. 

If you’ve been reading Meme Reviews for a while you’ll know that on top of being a massive Star Trek fan I am also a fairly big Lord of the Rings fan. So when the two are combined into a well edited meme I find it to be absolutely exquisite. The one ring has the ability to enhance the talents and abilities of its wearer so I wonder how it would influence Odo and his shapeshifting ability.

Next up we have a meme submitted by a fan (hi Mala!).

This meme is absolutely adorable. I love it. It’s also really clever. I bet a cat would love living on a Borg cube. There are plenty of places to hide and things to climb. Plus there will never be a shortage of lasers to chase.

Next up we have a meme from @gettheorion on Tumblr. 

I’ve never related to this meme more than I do at this moment. I just got my first ever parking ticket and frankly I’m not even sure why. That being said, I can still tell you about all the different classes of Starships and about the entire Soong family. I have a feeling that many of you reading this post will also relate.

Next up we have a meme from @commandermeg on Tumblr. 

In honor of Prodigy coming out later this week I thought that I should include at least one meme relating to it. I chose this one because I think it’s an absolutely perfect use of this format. This is also a really great summary of the Diviner and his character arc for anyone who has forgotten it in the year since Prodigy season 1.

Next up we have a meme from @robintreks on Instagram. 

Memes with good editing that border on the absurd are my jam. I love them and this one is no exception. It’s so stupid yet when I see it I cannot help but smile. I think Starfleet doctors should have an operation competition. Though I suppose that since in the future most operations aren’t done like this and instead are done through the machine on the surgical bed that Starfleet doctors might not be as good at operation as I would hope.

Next up we have a meme from @NickyWhat on X.

I have never seen a better real estate agent ad in my life. I love everything about it. Who would’ve thought that so many of Gowron’s famous quotes would work perfectly for a real estate ad. I especially like the spin on “today is a good day to die” with “today is a good day to buy.” I cannot translate the Klingon in the middle of this meme but if anyone reading this can please email us and let us know what it says. I’m curious.

Next up we have a meme from @starfleetcxdet on X.

This is actually a super cropped meme of the original post. The original picture was a picture of a door with this meme printed massively on it with the caption “I should be an interior decorator tbh.” While I’m not sure I would personally love to have this work of art on my wall I can definitely see the appeal. Who does not love catboy Miles O’Brien?
