OCTOBER 3, 2021 - Fans who were hoping for just a few more hints about the look and feel of Star Trek: Prodigy before it premieres on October 28th were given their wish when the official Nickelodeon Twitter account dropped a new ad for the show late last week.

The 30-second spot features quite a few new shots of the USS Protostar in action, sweeping through space, entering the atmosphere of a stunning alien planet, fighting its way through a fiery space anomaly of some sort, and engaging warp speed in a daring escape.
The members of the Protostar’s makeshift crew featured as well, with Brett Gray’s Dal dreaming of new frontiers, then struggling along with the others to find their place on their strange, new ship. Thankfully a holographic Captain Janeway is by their side to guide them, complete with her own cup of holo-coffee.
As these hints of adventure unfold, a voiceover proclaims the narrative thrust of Prodigy: “Six outcasts are figuring out the universe at warp speed.”
With just over three weeks until this latest franchise iteration hits our screens, it is certainly a good time to be a fan of Star Trek. Catch up on all the latest shows at Paramount+ and get ready for Star Trek: Prodigy, dropping October 28th.
