Star Trek rock band The Roddenberries pit Chancellors Gowron and Martok against each other in “Showdown 2020”

OCTOBER 28, 2020 - Star Trek rock band The Roddenberries have announced a virtual rock cabaret event taking place tomorrow night, Thursday, October 29th. The show is called “Showdown 2020” and features special guests Robert O’Reilly and J.G. Hertzler appearing as Chancellors Gowron and Martok from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. They’ll be “battling” for the title of Lifetime Chancellor in what The Roddenberries call “a Klingon election for the ages”.

Here’s what The Roddenberries have to say about the event: “Boldly going where they have never gone before, The Roddenberries will be presenting this 90-minute virtual rock and roll comedy cabaret which was shot in Philadelphia, New York and Los Angeles and includes new material from the band - as well as appearances from some other very special surprise guests from the world of Star Trek!”

Tickets for the event, which will be broadcast on The Roddenberries’ website, range from $15 to $75.  Premium ticket options include extras like commemorative t-shirts, band CDs, pins and posters.
