MEME REVIEW MONDAY: A Patriotic Gorn, Spock's Morning Routine and Weekend Plans

Hello! Happy Meme Review Monday! Sorry it’s been such a long time since my last meme review! Life has been quite hectic. Don’t worry though! We’re here now and I have 3 weeks worth of epic memes to share with y’all! So let’s jump right into it.

First up we have a meme sent to me by our Managing Editor T.Rick!

The 4th of July has come and gone since my last meme review so it seems only right that I include an America meme. I think Bruce Springsteen is the epitome of patriotic American music and thus this meme is the perfect one to celebrate 4th of July (albeit almost 2 weeks too late).

Next up we have a meme from @robintreks on Instagram. 

Of course I had to include a meme about the outage on Friday. For those who don’t know, a bunch of computers blue-screened due to an error in an update sent out by the cybersecurity company CrowdStrike. Apparently this outage was so widespread it reached all the way to the Enterprise, light years across the galaxy.

Next up we have a meme sent to me by my sister (Hi Sky!). 

This meme is funny but only because it’s something I hadn’t thought about before. Of course TOS Spock does his makeup every morning. It clearly isn’t a part of him given that he doesn’t have it in Strange New Worlds (a choice I’m still very sad about by the way). I think it’s funny to imagine Spock doing his beauty routine and I hope it makes others smile as well.

This meme is so stupid and I love it. I like the idea of a massive car dealer who is able to survive in the vacuum of space. I have the feeling this is Q’s doing.

Next up we have a meme from @gettheorion on Tumblr.

The Diviner fits surprisingly well into Drag Race. I don’t know if it’s the high cheekbones or the snatched waist but I’m here for it. He has an amazing runway walk as well. Ru Paul would be proud.

I think that if Picard ever interacted with the Prodigy kids he would self implode. There is not enough Chateau Picard wine in the universe to get him through a night on the Protostar. Thank God they interact with Janeway, who is much more equipped to handle chaotic children running around.

And finally we have another meme from @gettheorion on Tumblr. 

I don’t know about you but this sounds like a perfectly ideal weekend to me. I wish this is how I could spend every weekend. Alas, we do not yet live in a socialist space utopia and I still have to go to work every day. However, at least there is always Star Trek for me when I get home!
