Sir Patrick Stewart joins cast of stars reading Fight of the Century for ACLU’s 100th
Sir Patrick Stewart is part of an all-star cast reading an audiobook tribute to the ACLU.
Fight of the Century is a brand-new anthology curated by Star Trek: Picard showrunner Michael Chabon and his wife, Ayelet Waldman, in collaboration with the American Civil Liberties Union, celebrating its 100-year anniversary. The anthology features original essays by 40 modern influential writers, including Chabon himself, Neil Gaiman, Salman Rushdie, and many more. The stories take you inside landmark cases and other stories involving the ACLU, like Roe v. Wade, Brown v. Board of Education, and Miranda v. Arizona.
Some of the writers, like Chabon and Gaiman, read their own essays, but many are read by a star-studded cast, including Sir Patrick Stewart, as well as other Star Trek alumni Alison Pill (no relation), Zachary Quinto, and John Cho. And it’s not just Trek actors getting in on the action either...other notable readers include Bradley Whitford, Lucy Liu, Billy Porter, Judith Light, and from honorary Star Trek film Galaxy Quest, Tony Shalhoub and Missi Pyle.
Both the audiobook and print versions of Fight of the Century are available now from Simon & Schuster Audio and Avid Reader Press, respectively.
